A Line
A Line
Hide Abstract
We've forgotten how it is that we see. While it cannot be proven, I believe memory discernment, the mortar to our consciousness, evolved post audio, visual, and other sensory receptor development. I think this is true within the locality of individual growth at infancy, as it is true at an evolutional scale, say from the time of rudimentary biologic life on our planet. This seems why we cannot recall our lives prior to our first glimpse, first sound, first smell, etc. What can possibly be retained without the memory to do so? This memory priority appears just as applicable to humanity as does every observable organismic entity.
I imagine each sensory experiential awareness as like a line. Abstract a line and awareness automatically dictates a new dimension--this dimension being polar as the space on the other side of the line, as it is compared to the space on the other side of the line.
Sightlessness, an absense of a sensory perception, could have once been our line. That line we've has since becoe aware, and since have crossed. Curiously, it seems with the crossing of each new line, another line is to emerge. This new line defines, and coordinately limits, our current senses, and ever dictates an expression for expanded awareness. At present, I define this line, or series of such, as a progressive quest toward what some refer to as love, light, and ascension. It does seem in a progressive way, new senses awaken in the evolving pursuit for realization of these experiential dimensionse.
What will be humanity's next sense? How shall it be revealed? What new line will be drawn?
