Spiritual
What are you full of
What are you full of
No not... s**t hopefully :-)
I was recently introduced to a present day philosopher/revealer named Ken Wilber. In his broad and very informative audio book, Kosmic Conciousness, Ken talks about integral theory, or spirituality. His use of "Kosmic" is a play-on the letter 'K', which he suggests represents a larger and more enlightened realm beyond the widely accepted definition of Cosmic--which connotes a rationalistic meaning. The information, is in my perspective, fairly accurate and applicable to my current paradigm, or what I call truth geography, and was immediatley useful in terms of understanding a manifested experience within the topographic realm of parenting.
In one of the his talks, Kevin dives into differences between male and female energies. Without want of pidgeon-holing, he describes a component to the female enegry as being aligned in the creative, exploratory, and expressive feeling of fulllness, whereas the male energy aligns with the expression of freedom.
This evening I opened a discussion with my daughter about how she would apply meaning to the statement, "I feel full." The first response she gave was a gesture toward the kitchen sink. It took me a second but her response was based upon the event of stating "I am full", at the dinner table, and knowing the next logical step is to take dishes to the sink. From there, it naturally evolved to being full of carrot juice, full of cereal, full of milk, full of movies, full of happiness, and full of love. Al of these "full-ofs" were brought to the communication stream. Though, perhaps not entirely realized, the ideas were brought into our minds to offer ourselves varying levels of contemplation.
Next we talked about what it means to be free. We were free to play, free to dance, free to run outside the house, free to eat food. To contrast the freedom, I asked if being stuck was freedom? She responded,
No! That's no being free.
The discussion held merit because it ushers up in to the mind questions about just what is fullness, what is freedom, what are these universe forces that thread each aspect of the integral theory, and how they pertain to quadrants, lines, levels, states, and types.
